S.M.A.R.T. BOARD MEETING

January 17, 2008

9-20-07 MTG:

 

MARATHON:             Final amount was $22,726.39

 

NOVEMBER              Nov 17th - about 85 people attended.  Served chili after mass, then played     

BINGO                        bingo.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.

 

MENTOR                    Had families interested in being a mentor but no one needed a mentor at

PROGRAM                 this time.  Julie O. will see about putting Mentor Program sheet in kindergarten round up packet for next year.

 

FAMILY                     Julie O., Julie R. and Trish will work on putting a brief description

ASSIGNMENT           together for each group.  It was also discussed to make a uniform letter

LIST                            for room parents to use explaining birthdays, Christmas gifts, etc. to be sent home with the students.

 

CATHOLIC                January 27-February 2, 2008 – Chair people:  Dan and Lynn Plass

SCHOOLS                  St. Mary’s school has invited about 35 people from local schools, St. Al’s,

WEEK                         to have lunch at school and take a tour of the school.

 

CLUB’S                      Kick off – February 8th – Chair people:  Pat & Terri McNamara

CHOICE                     Information has been sent home with the students.

 

BALLROOM              March 2nd – Chair people: Jeff & Deb Ziller

BINGO

 

FAMILY                     Julie O. will contact Gregg & Sheila Steffl about getting a date set

SOCIAL                      up with BOLD School in Olivia.

                                   

TEACHER                   SMART board will provide lunch for the teachers during the

CONFERENCES:       January 24th conferences.  Julie R.-soup, Trish-meat and cheese, Peggy-bread and butter, Tammy-bars, Dave-water, Jody-bars, Deb-bowls, spoons, plates.  Have in faculty room by 3:00, plan for 12.
