There are 8 “K” Kids this year in Kindergarten.
The month of September flew by quickly!! The “K”
Kids have been working so hard on collecting money for the marathon and are in
third place! That’s GREAT considering we only have 8 in our class! They are
gearing up for the walk on Oct. 2nd which they walk with their Guardian
Angels.
We are now working on mastering our numbers to 20. The
color words red, blue and yellow have been introduced and some have these
mastered already too! We will be
finished with the letters of the alphabet in about 10 days and then we will
take the letters out of order and master the sounds they make and the correct
way to print them. The “K” Kids will be reading by the end of October after
they have mastered some of the letters and then put them together to make
words! Such an exciting time for them.
