Newsies – The Musical (A BOLD/BLHS/SMS Schools Production)

We hope you can join us for the BOLD/BLHS Schools Production of Newsies!

Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of “newsies,” who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what’s right.

➡️ Shows are held at Bird Island Campus stage, 110 S. 9th ST, Bird Island MN.

➡️ Tickets available at the door. Doors will open a half-hour before showtime! Tickets are $5 for kids, $7 for adults.

➡️ This show features talented kids in grades 5-12 from BOLD School, BLHS School, and St. Mary’s School!

➡️ No flash photography and no recording allowed.
