Message from the Principal

St. Mary’s School is not just a beautiful physical building that has been lovingly preserved for generations; nor is it just a learning institution where academics are strongly begun and the foundations of learning are established. St. Mary’s is both of those things, but even more than that – it is a community of learners, teachers, staff, alumni and stakeholders gathered to worship, find connections with one another and find a place where God is our center and our reason why.

As principal of St. Mary’s School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone each morning to our building when the year begins, when each day begins and look forward to seeing the faces that are a part of our community. That Catholic virtue of hospitality is seen throughout our building in inviting classrooms, our warm teachers and staff, and the sounds of “good morning” that rings throughout the building.

As a school, we strive to meet the needs of our students where they are at and then cultivate a learning environment of curiosity, intrigue, faith and challenge which help our students grow socially, emotionally and academically. Our teachers engage in professional development as continuous learners to provide the highest quality education. They also have been identified by our students and parents as loving, caring and committed professionals who go above and beyond time and again for their students. The tight knit bonds of this school can be seen at our many schoolwide events, in the family like atmosphere and in the enduring relationships between our alumni.

As a school community, another core value is our commitment to service to others which is rooted in the virtues of charity, humility, and discipleship which are at the core of our Catholic faith. Throughout the year, our school community finds ways to give back and participate in projects that serve as Jesus taught us – to local friends we know, national causes and even internationally to people we will likely never meet.

I am extremely proud to be St. Mary’s School principal and would be honored to tell you more about what we have to offer.

We invite you to learn more about why families choose St. Mary’s School for their children, and our rich history of Catholic education that dates back more than a hundred years. I would love to hear from you and provide a tour or answer any questions that your family has. Please contact me at directly (320) 365-3693 Ext. 215, email me or fill out this simple form.
