Preschool Paraprofessional Position
St. Mary’s School / Play Island Preschool – Bird Island, MN
St. Mary’s School/Play Island Preschool in Bird Island, Minnesota, is seeking a full-time Preschool Paraprofessional for the 2026–2027 school year.
The selected candidate will assist the preschool teacher with implementing curriculum aligned to the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress (ECIPs). Responsibilities include organizing, facilitating, and monitoring classroom activities; engaging students in intellectual, creative, artistic, and physical activities; and supporting the daily needs of children enrolled in the preschool program. The paraprofessional will also be expected to follow all Minnesota Department of Human Services licensing guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Coursework or training in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
- Previous preschool experience preferred, but not required
Tentative Hours
- Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. during the school year

Compensation & Benefits
