Middle School Teacher (emphasis in Math):
St. Mary’s School is seeking a Middle School Teacher, with a strong math emphasis for the 2021-22 school year who is looking to develop leaders of tomorrow. The candidate will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration and participation, observe the child and interpret the child’s needs and coordinate regular communication with parents regarding their children’s progress. The candidate will effectively use observations and data regularly to assess student achievement and plan instruction accordingly. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, organized, optimistic, problem solvers, adaptable, and communicate positively and effectively and demonstrates faith leadership and commitment to vision, mission and values of the St. Mary’s Schools. Candidates will be responsible for teaching grades 6 through 8 in the Middle School (both grade level math and Advanced math sections)
- Applicants must have and/or are in the process to receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics or equivalent.
- K-6 or 1-6 Elementary Education Minnesota license with a strong emphasis on Math
- And/or a 5-12 Minnesota license in the area of Mathematics
- OR a 4 year degree in any area but has a strong emphases on Math (Algebra I and II)
