We are celebrating 125 years!!

Save the date – June 17-19, 2022!

It’s time to come home…the students and staff of St. Mary’s School are calling out to all alumni and inviting them to come celebrate with us! Come home to the place where your education all started!!! Please help us spread the word. We will have a weekend filled with memories, laughter and school-wide pride.

St. Mary’s School is inviting all who have walked through the halls at one time in their life, to come home and help us celebrate 125 years of education. The St. Mary’s School celebration will begin on Friday evening, June 17, 2022 and will run through the weekend with school tours, events, all school reunion and gatherings. Our weekend will end with an all-school reunion Mass at 10:30 am on Sunday June 19th, 2022.

We are so excited to incorporate this celebration with the Island Days weekend events. We are looking forward to filling the streets of Bird Island with wonderful people, delicious food trucks, activities for the whole family to enjoy and school tours to reminisce about the memories that were made within St. Mary’s School.

This will be our weekend to look back on what it meant to be a part of St. Mary’s School, a Marion at one time. A time listen to the voices of those past leaders, stakeholders, an alumnus of St. Mary’s School, a time to listen to the legacy that they have left. A time to pay our respects to all who have passed from our school family and provide hope and sustainability which will allow for us to enter another hundred years in the history of this building.

We continue to provide a faith filled education to our children of today who will soon be our future of tomorrow.
